Kingston, Jamaica: For the fourth year the Cecil Boswell Facey Foundation (CBFF) will observe Maurice Facey Day on Saturday, August 12, 2017.
The day would have marked the 92nd birthday of the founding chairman of PanJam Investment Limited Maurice Facey OJ.

Maurice Facey’s philanthropy, which was encouraged from boyhood, culminated in the 1984 creation of CBFF to honour his father — Cecil Boswell Facey — after whom the charity is named.
“Last year the Foundation launched its official website www.cbfaceyfoundation.orgin observance of Maurice Facey Day. This year we have designed a portal on the website through which entities can apply for grants for 2017-18,” explained Singh Williams.
The Foundation has also reformulated the core functions and perceptions to emphasise its social investment model.
Social Investment Model promotes the investing of the donated funds to a create a fund-base that will become self-sustaining and eventually generate operational funds.
“As the charitable arm of PanJam Investment Limited, CBFF sees its role in the Foundation landscape as the avenue to assist non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to invest sustainably and empower pathways to Vision 2030,” Singh Williams posited.
